Merger Strengthens Maguire’s Depth in Structural Moving Industry
Maguire Agency, an independent insurance agency offering property/casualty, employee benefits, and personal insurance lines, announced today the intent to merge the operations of Dave Pizur & Associates of Milwaukee, Wis., into its Structural Movers Insurance Unit, effective July 1, 2010. Melissa (Pizur) Wade will join Maguire’s Structural Movers’ Insurance Unit as an account manager. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“Pizur’s clients can expect the same great service, with the same great account manager and an expanded service team dedicated to the needs of structural movers,” said Matt Clysdale, CPCU, CIC, president of Maguire. “Because Maguire offers traditional business insurance policies – such as workers’ compensation, general liability policies, and employee benefits – from many reputable insurance companies, structural movers can get all of their insurance from Maguire.”
Pizur clients will be serviced by Maguire Agency beginning July 1, 2010, regardless of when their insurance policies may renew.

Maguire Agency is the managing general agent for Travelers, underwriting all of the carrier’s structural movers’ policies. This partnership has long benefited the agency’s clients and will now be available to Pizur’s clients as well.
